About Us
Our Background
Delta Chi Gamma is an independent service sorority founded at Virginia Tech in 2014, with the purpose of helping women to find their place at the university. Now, more than 10 years later, the sorority upholds this purpose, encouraging members to serve the community, develop academic goals, and build a core group of friends.
Our Pillars
Service
Service is a core value of DXG, bringing members together through meaningful, hands-on involvement.
Past projects include work with the YMCA, Micah’s Backpack, Hale Community Garden, campus-based initiatives like period product bins, and group participation in larger events like Relay for Life.

Sisterhood
Delta Chi Gamma values an inclusive and welcoming sisterhood. With a smaller chapter size, it’s easy to get involved and get to know everyone.
Our members bond through events like themed movie nights, game nights, craft nights, group dinners, and more, all guided by member ideas and interests.

Academics
Delta Chi Gamma promotes a culture of encouragement and accountability around academics.
Through regular study hours and peer support, members maintain strong academic focus. Leadership roles encourage growth by giving members hands-on experience in managing teams.
